The Return of the Messiah – Is it a Thing?

secondcoming

That is the sixty-four thousand dollar question, isn’t it? The basic literalist and fundamentalist is a firm believer in the entire Bible being completely literal and the inerrant word of God. Is that true? What do you believe? If you are here, my guess is that you already know the answer or you are on the edge of a great discovery that has the potential to set you free. Big stakes, indeed.

The second coming of Christ is a fundamental belief that the gospel stories as you’ve read them are completely true, and as most of you were trained in your Christian walk, or maybe I should say if you were trained in a Christian walk, you would most likely be a firm believer that Jesus was the one who was going to overthrow the Roman Empire. That was the original belief, anyway; and that he was going to set up his very own kingdom of righteousness right here on planet earth. We know that that was what Judas Iscariot believed if we are interpreting the gospels literally.

There has always been, in the history of religion, a Messiah who would return from a heavenly domain and do good on earth, and that’s always the way it’s been. But there’s a grave error committed by the people who interpret scripture literally. Let’s take a look at an example, and as we look at this piece of writing, we will also see how the words were changed or misinterpreted when translated from the original Greek to English.

Matthew 24-3 King James Version
3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

In 1881, a group of scholars of divinity went into the King James Version and retranslated the words to their correct form. The reason for the reinterpretation was, per Wikipedia: Their stated aim was “to adapt King James’ version to the present state of the English language without changing the idiom and vocabulary,” and “to adapt it to the present standard of Biblical scholarship.”

The result was the following translation of the above passage in Matthew 24-3:
3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy presence, and of the end of the Age?

“Coming” became “presence” and “world” became “Age.” The Greek word that was translated for coming was “parousia,” which means “presence.”

The Second Coming of Christ (a phrase not found in the Bible) is expressed by the apostles in the following special terms:

(1) “Parousia” (parousia), a word fairly common in Greek, with the meaning “presence” (2 Corinthians 10:10; Philippians 2:12). More especially it may mean “presence after an absence,” “arrival” (but not “return.”)

https://www.biblestudytools.com/dictionary/parousia/

The Latin word that was used was “presential”, which definitely means “presence.”

presential
Adjective
(comparative more presential, superlative most presential) (obsolete) Implying actual presence; present, immediate.
https://www.yourdictionary.com/presential

The Greek word that was translated to mean “world” was “αἰῶνος,” which actually means “Age.”

GRK: συντελείας τοῦ αἰῶνος
NAS: and of the end of the age

That has a major impact on how this needs to be looked at because now we have a different story. What is the sign of your presence? What will be the sign at the end of the Age? The Bible gives us clues hidden in plain sight for those who interpret scripture spiritually, the way it tells you to interpret it, and for those of us who are inward Jews and are spiritually circumcised.

But first, since the word “Age” is mentioned, we need to look at the Zodiac to see what is going on in the sky, where we have stopped looking for answers to religion. Sad because so much of it is up there.

The length of a Zodiacal Age is 2,160 years. Add up the numbers and come to 9. The time it takes the earth to pass through all twelve Ages is 25,920 years. Add them up to come to 18. Add the 1 and 8 together to get 9. This is also why the number 9 is referenced abundantly in the Bible. 153 fish caught by the disciples, 144,000 saved in the Book of Revelations, etc. It’s all about consciousness revealed through the Zodiac through the use of Astro-Theology. It’s heavily coded and you have to do your homework to find out the hidden meaning behind the literal story on the surface.

We just left the Age of Pisces and have entered the Age of Aquarius, which is largely agreed to have already begun. Do you know what the Zodiac sign of the Age of Aquarius is? It’s a man bearing a pitcher of water.

Now read the following piece of scripture with that knowledge.

Luke 22 8-12 King James Version
8 And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat.
9 And they said unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare?
10 And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he entereth in.
11 And ye shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Master saith unto thee, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?
12 And he shall shew you a large upper room furnished: there make ready.

The literalist will tell you that it was a literal man carrying a literal pitcher of water and entering a literal house. But here’s the kicker: men didn’t carry water in those days, and in some areas, those gender-biased beliefs and practices still hold firm today. Women carried water, always, not men.

So, this is not to be taken literally, right? If that’s true, what does it mean? The answer to that question needs to be explained in an easy-to-follow way so it makes sense to everybody that will read this article.

One thing that needs to be understood is the cycle of the Zodiac and what that meant to people two thousand years ago, and beyond. As the sun passes through the twelve signs of the Zodiac, a total of 360 days (the additional 5 days were added later), the gospel narrative changes to reflect that passage.

The New Testament was written by Greek mystics that still held strong to their belief system that revolved around their primary deity, Zeus. That core is seen in the Greek name for Jesus, which was “Iesous.” They believed that heaven was on the planet Uranus (“Ouranos” in Greek), and that’s where you went when you died if you were a “good” person. Hades if you were “bad.”

All of these ancient philosophies revolved around these universal mystic patterns or templates. Evolutionary cycles of time. Everything in a circle. Everything begins to come down, goes through the bottom and raises itself back up in a great cycle.

That’s exactly what the life story of Jesus Christ is. That’s why the Son is the Sun. It comes down and goes through the Southern Cross in the tail of the constellation known as The Swan or Cygnus. On December 21st it goes into the tomb of the earth for three days and three nights in the Winter Solstice. On December 25th, it starts its journey back upward.

According to the mythology of the Bible, Jesus came down from heaven, went through the cross, was entombed for three days and three nights, resurrected, went down to set the captives free and then ascended back up. It’s the same solar pattern mentioned above. With that information, we can then surmise that Jesus was acknowledged by the Greeks to be an agricultural deity. The worship of the Sun has always been associated with agriculture, and rightly so. This is no different.

The white horse Jesus rides in the Book of Revelation is simply a representation of the mind. The color white is symbolic of spirit. Not an actual white horse but the higher aspects of consciousness within you.

So, let’s breakdown the following passages into something that actually makes sense:
10 And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he entereth in.
12 And he shall shew you a large upper room furnished: there make ready.

What Jesus is saying is at the time of the man bearing a pitcher of water, the Age of Aquarius, you will enter into the house, into yourself, and you will go to the completely furnished upper room, which is the higher realm of consciousness within you, the higher realms of the human mind. It’s completely furnished for you. Nothing for you to bring. Nothing for you to do there. Make ready and I will meet you there and sup with you. And going within yourself means to meditate. The Christ is waiting to sup with you in the furnished upper room of your mind, now, in this Age, at this moment.

Now, is all of the above true? All I know is that it makes more sense than the lunacy of a literal translation of the Bible. Maybe I’m wrong, but maybe, just maybe, I’m right. The only real way to know the truth is for you to meditate and see if it starts to change the way you feel, change the way you think and change the way you act toward others.

Do you see in the last two thousand years any improvement on the planet with the addition of religion? It’s just as bad now as it has ever been. Religion has done nothing but to continue promoting separation from whatever God is. You’re a sinner in need of redemption. And they will continue to sing “Amazing Grace” and “Old Rugged Cross”, dunk people in water to “save” them, condemn same-sex marriage, support racial inequality, which is rampant in the fundamental church, and on and on until the cows come home unless we as a people unite to say “no more.” Wars will continue to be fought, the bombs will continue to fall, genocide will still be committed, etc. It should be mandatory that every aspect of religion be taught to everybody from an early age. Symbolism, numerology, Astro-Theology, world mythology, etc. We have to nip this in the bud now to gain a foothold for the coming generations so that they don’t fall into the same trap that we did.

In the Age Aquarius, Uranus (Greek heaven) is the ruling planet that is chasing out the former ruling planet of the Piscean Age, Jupiter, which is a symbol of wealth and discovery. That identification for Jupiter appears to be quite accurate seeing that the last two thousand years have seen just that. All material aspects like airplanes, computers, money, bank, investments, stock markets, etc. have flourished and expanded.

But what is happening now? Uranus is chasing out Jupiter, spirit is chasing out the lower aspects of the mind, Jesus chased out the money changers from the temple. It’s the same thing. And what do we see now on the planet? A massive surge of people interested in mindfulness, consciousness, meditation, yoga, energy work and climate activism. It’s all across the planet and is a beautiful representation of the power of the Aquarian Age flexing its muscles. The older guard is losing its grip and beginning to fail. The power of religion is beginning to falter. People are finding out the truth and are leaving the church in droves. You can’t stop it, nobody can. It’s a beautiful thing to behold.

So, we’ve discussed what signs we’ve seen for the end of the Age when Jesus was asked that in Matthew 24-3. But what is the sign of his presence?

The problem is that Christians are looking for a living breathing Messiah walking the earth and that his kingdom is a material thing. The Bible is very clear about the kingdom not being seen, meaning that’s it’s an inner consciousness kind of thing.

Luke 17 20-21
20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
The kingdom can’t be seen because it’s within you. The return of the Messiah has nothing at all to do with anything to be seen with the physical eyes. And with that, the entire basis of fundamental Christianity is worthless by and through the words of their savior, the very one that they claim is coming back to save them. You won’t see the return of the kingdom because it all happens within you. Jesus is an aspect of you, as is reflected in the following passage:

John 14-20
20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

That’s how you’ll know that the second coming has happened. That’s the day that you realize every bit of the Bible happens within you. The Kingdom of Christ is something to strive for within yourself but you’ll never achieve that unless you follow his instructions, which were what?

John 14 22-23
22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?

Wait, wait, wait. This Judas is asking how Jesus will manifest Himself to the disciples and not to the rest of the world. That right there is a very telling statement. Why wouldn’t Jesus manifest to the rest of the world as well? Because the twelve disciples are a part of your personality, not actual people, and the “world” is symbolic of the lower nature where the Christ does not dwell. Each disciple reflects something that is a part of you. That’s why John is the one “whom Jesus loved” because he is a representation of love itself, within you.
23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words

“Keep my words”, meaning to do what I tell you to do, but we’re told not to be “ministers of the letter“, meaning to not read scripture literally, right? We’re also told to use “spiritual discernment,” right? We can’t look at these words of the Bible like a “natural man” or simply someone who interprets everything literally because we then fall into the trap of fundamental religion, which has become such a blasphemous thing. Many early founding church fathers believed the same thing. Such as Athanasius of Alexandria.

stathansius

(Wikipedia) Athanasius of Alexandria (/ˌæθəˈneɪʃəs/; Greek: Ἀθανάσιος ἈλεξανδρείαςAthanásios Alexandrías; Coptic: or [2]; c. 296–298 – 2 May 373), also called Athanasius the Great, Athanasius the Confessor or, primarily in the Coptic Orthodox Church, Athanasius the Apostolic, was the 20th bishop of Alexandria (as Athanasius I). His on-again-off-again episcopate spanned 45 years (c. 8 June 328 – 2 May 373), of which over 17 encompassed five exiles when his episcopate was replaced on the order of four different Roman emperors. Athanasius was a Christian theologian, a Church Father, the chief defender of Trinitarianism against Arianism, and a noted Egyptian leader of the fourth century.

Should we understand sacred writ according to the letter, we should fall into the most enormous blasphemies.” Albert Pike, Morals and Dogma of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry (1871) p.266

There are many such quotes from prominent church leaders that would surprise you. Go here if you want to see more of that evidence.

So, what other instructions did Jesus give us?

  1. “Seek first the kingdom of God” Matthew 6-23
  2. “The kingdom of God is within you” Luke 17-21
  3. “If thine eye be single your body will be filled with light” Matthew 6-22
  4. “Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?” Matthew 6-27

How do we accomplish the above instructions? Putting it simply, we meditate. Jesus does not dwell in our current state of mind, He dwells in the higher realms of consciousness within you, where the kingdom is according to Luke 17-21. Jesus will never return unless you go within yourself. The church and its lost leaders have taken away the keys of knowledge, of which Jesus was very clear.

Luke 11-52
52 Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered.

Lawyers are the ones well versed in Mosaic law or the law of Moses. In other words, what they are doing is killing their mind, killing their soul, because they are hindering them from entering within themselves. The lawyers believe that it’s not in line with Old Testament beliefs. They are not being taught the truth because the key has been taken away. They have been hindered.

How much clearer can He make it that you need to meditate now in the Age of Aquarius?

1 Corinthians 3-16
16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

Matthew 5-14
14 Ye are the light of the world.

John 14-12
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do

Colossians 1-27
27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

The second coming of Christ can happen whenever you want it to but it won’t happen in a church, it won’t happen if you are looking for it with physical eyes, and it definitely won’t happen if you are a minister of the letter or natural man.

The man bearing a pitcher of water has announced his arrival. The Aquarian Age is here. The second coming is here and waiting for you to experience it. Go within and do just that.

Set out on a new path, the path of the gnostic and see if your life begins to change for the better.

  1. Hi Matt! Grateful to find your work this evening. I’m 55 years old and I’ve been on quite the journey the past five years seeking answers to who am I really, where am I really and what exactly is Earth. I’ve spent over 6000 hours of study the past five years deep in the rabbit hole, seeking the truth is not an easy journey. I’ve been following the work of Bill Donahue the past four months his work brought me to yours. I look forward to reading your thoughts and understandings

    1. Hi Mike!

I’m glad you found my blog and that you find the articles helpful in answering those difficult-to-answer questions you posed above.

I, too, am a huge fan of Bill Donahue. He was the fist person I came across with such a profound take on sprituality that I couldn’t stop watching and listening to him. He’s that good, as you know. Also, he was the catalyst for me launching this blog.

I understand the journey your on now because I was and am still searching for answers. Being raised Southern Baptist with a bit of Pentacostal sprinkled in, I had my work cut out for me in waking up. So much mental programming to undo and start fresh with a new understanding of who and what I am.

If you haven’t already, I would recommend looking at some of Dolores Cannon’s work on YouTube as well as some of her books. I don’t fully subscribe to all of her work because of my own extensive research on the historicity of Jesus. But with that being said, she has some profound insight on where we came from and what we are doing here. Check out her book called “Between Life and Death”. Quite the profound read, in my opinion. Just filter what you know about Chistianity from Bill Donahue and focus on the deep conversations she has with the other side. Here is the link if you decide to get the book:

It was a pleasure hearing from you and I hope this blog has some of the answers you seek. More articles coming soon!

      2. That’s interesting that you did a session. I’ve been considering it as well. There are several practitioners very close to me. I think that maybe you supposed to tell me that to get me to stop procrastinating. Hmm, coincidence? I think not.

I’ll check out that channel as well. Thanks for recommending it.

May you be blessed and prosperous as well.
